Support Group for Mums

Becoming a parent for the first time is a huge life change and can be overwhelming at times. There is hardly any time left to yourself and it can he hard for you to seek help. However, it is important to give yourself the opportunity to feel supported in your new role as a mother. Sometimes you may feel things that you do not dare to speak out loud.

It can really help to meet with others in a similar situation in order to feel supported through this often confusing time.

If you prefer to see me for private session, you are also welcome to do so.

As a mother you may also feel so drained that you need a boost somehow and restore your energies. Reiki healing can help to feel more relaxed and centred, so that you can be with your family again with a refreshed and centred outlook.

You may like to learn the open heart meditation as a tool to enhance your daily living and help you deal with the daily stresses that come with being a mother.

Whether you are a new parent or have several children, whether your children are still young or more independent, you can do something that will help you to become calmer and more centred, which in turn will help you when interacting with your children and your families.

If you are unsure what treatment may be right for you, we can discuss this in the initial session to decide which approach will be right for you at this moment.

When you become a mum, you lose your old identity and may feel unsure how to be a mother. In a world where there is so much pressure to do it all (and do it well), it can be confusing and disheartening. There is often an assumption that we instinctively know how to be mothers, that it is supposed to be beautiful and natural. So what do you do when you don’t feel that and you feel too embarrassed to talk about it or have not felt supported? What if your own experiences of childhood have been triggered? What if you feel overwhelmed by being a mother?

Here is your chance to talk freely about what you really feel in a confidential, safe and supportive group with other new mums so you can start to become a more confident and contented mother.

  • Weekly 1.5 hour sessions for 6 weeks (with the possibility of extending)
  • £95 for 6 sessions on Mondays 10-11.30am. If you are interested in an evening time please register your interest.
